Dr. Megan Kennedy, BSc, PhD Dr. Kennedy is an Assistant Lecturer in Health and Nutritional Sciences at the Atlantic Technological University Sligo and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Physiotherapy at Trinity College Dublin. Originally from Dublin, she has extensive clinical and academic experience as a Physiotherapist and Lecturer in Ireland and internationally. She completed her PhD at Trinity College Dublin in 2022, examining the impact of clinical bleeding phenotype on physical activity participation in adults with haemophilia in Ireland. Her postdoctoral research involved projects exploring barriers and facilitators to physical activity to reduce cardiometabolic health risk among ageing adults with haemophilia, as well as the relationship between clinical bleeding phenotype, physical health, and physical activity among women and girls with bleeding disorders. In 2024, she was awarded an EAHAD Research Grant for the EMPOWER Study, investigating the management of physical health issues and physiotherapy care for women and girls with bleeding disorders.
