Jan Astermark is Professor in Clinical Coagulation Medicine at Lund University, Head of the Department of Translational Medicine, Lund University, Senior Consultant and Director of the Center for Thrombosis and Hemostasis in Malmö. He is a specialist in hematology, coagulation disorders and internal medicine. He has published number of original articles, review articles and book chapters in the field of hemophilia and coagulation disorders. He has also since many years provided international educational activities in the field of hemophilia and von Willebrand disease.
