Deirdre Gorman Clinical Nurse Specialist, Registered Nurse Prescriber,
Deirdre is a nurse specialist working in a comprehensive care centre for people with bleeding disorders. Deirdre has twelve years’ experience in this area and six years in a specialist nurse role. Deirdre has expertise in the assessment and long-term management of complex bleeding conditions.
Deirdre is involved in nurse led initiatives and service development projects focused on enhancing patient care, improving clinical pathways and advancing nursing practice within MDT. Deirdre has a strong interest in quality improvement and the evolving role of the specialist nurse in haemophilia and bleeding disorders.
Deirdre is committed to improving patient outcomes and sharing best practice to support high quality sustainable service.
