Gijs Aertssen is PT and PhD student at the Center of Benign Haematology, Thrombosis and Haemostasis, Van Creveldkliniek, University Medical Center Utrecht, in the Netherlands. I obtained my degree in physiotherapy and rehabilitation science at SOMT University, Amersfoort and my masters degree in Human Movement Sciences at Maastricht University. I am currently focusing on several research projects about joint health in people with bleeding disorders together with a multidisciplinary team of haematologists, orthopedic surgeons and radiologists.
