Description

Dr Gráinne O’ Brien is a Senior Clinical Psychologist, based at the Edinburgh Haemophilia Centre, providing care to individuals and families who are living with an inherited bleeding disorder in Scotland. She works with children, young people and adults with Haemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders to support them to self- manage their condition and maximise their quality of life. Gráinne earned a BA in Psychology from UCD, Dublin, a MSc in Health Psychology from QMU, Edinburgh and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Edinburgh. Gráinne is the current Chair of the Haemophilia Psychological Association (HPA) in the UK and is a member of the EAHAD Psychosocial Committee.
