Description
Dr Fariba Baghaei is a Senior Consultant at the European Haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centre (EHCCC) at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden, where she has served as the medical director since 2006. She has extensive experience in clinical care and research related to hemophilia and allied bleeding disorders, including studies on hemophilia carriers. She served as President of the Nordic Hemophilia Council (NHC) from 2015 to 2021 and remains an active member. She is a member of the Steering Committee of the Swedish National Registry for Bleeding Disorders and serves on both the Steering and Scientific Committees of the Arosenius Foundation. Since 2020, Dr Baghaei has been a member of the Executive Committee of the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD), where she currently co-chairs the Working Group on Accreditation and Audit of Haemophilia Treatment Centres.
