Professor Alison Dougall is head of the Department of Child and Dental Public Health at TRINITY College Dublin and a Consultant/Professor in Special Care Dentistry at Dublin Dental University Dental Hospital and the National.Coagulation Centre in Ireland . She is immediate Past President of the International Association for Disability and Oral Health and former chair of the WFH Dental Committee. She has published over 50 scientific articles and a clinical textbook of special care dentistry. She has extensive healthcare management experience and was the winner of the winner of the HMI Irish Health Leader Award for her work designing oral care pathways for people with bleeding disorders In 2022, she was awarded the John Tomes Medal for global impact in her research and clinical practice by the Royal.
